Jedburgh is a town 10 miles inside the Scottish Border, between Newcastle and Edinburgh. It has shops, pubs and award-winning restaurants as well as countryside and attractions such as the Jedburgh Castle Jail, Mary Queen of Scots' House and the 1138 abbey towering over the town. Fishing can be enjoyed on the Teviot, Tweed and Jed Rivers and there are 21 golf courses nearby.
