This well-presented detached cottage, less than two miles from Harlech in Snowdonia, sleeps ten people in four bedrooms. Four bedrooms: 2 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x family room with 2 singles and 2'6" bunk. Two bathrooms with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with dining area and woodburner.
Is Y Deri is a welcoming, detached cottage, located less than two miles from Harlech in the Snowdonia National Park. With four bedrooms, two doubles, one twin and one family room with two singles and 2'6" bunks, this cottage can sleep ten people. There are also two bathrooms and a ground floor shower room. The living accommodation includes a spacious kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner and a second dining area. Outside, there is off road parking for three cars along with an enclosed front lawned garden with furniture and barbecue. Is Y Deri offers large groups of friends and families a comfortable, homely base from which to discover the delights of Snowdonia. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner included in rent. Bed linen and towels included in rent. Games console with a selection of games. High chair, booster seat, stairgate and travel cot. CD player with DAB radio, Internet radio and Bluetooth speaker. Landline for incoming calls and emergency out-going calls only. Very limited mobile signal. Off road parking for 3 cars. Enclosed front lawned garden with furniture and BBQ. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.6 miles. Note: This is a roadside property, children to be supervised when in the car parking area.

Situated in a magnificent position between the mountains and the sea, the delightful small town of Harlech is dominated by its majestic 13th century castle.

"Is Y Deri is a great base from which to explore Harlech and the surrounding area. The beach at Harlech is beautiful and we spend a great afternoon exploring the castle. The house itself is right on the road, which is a bit off-putting at first. However, the traffic noise and disruption is minimal when inside. The garden is small but really nice and there's a hillside walk from a gate at the back. The house is spacious and good for large groups. The lounge is especially nice, with three huge and very comfortable sofas. We were disappointed by a few things, such as the cleanliness of the house. Most surfaces are dusty and the rooms smelt fusty. The kitchen is relatively well equipped but the fridge is very small for a house of this size. The mattresses on the beds seemed old and were all pretty saggy and uncomfortable. It's a shame because it makes such a diffference when staying somewhere if the beds are half decent. It was great to have a travel cot, high chair and booster seat available at the house. It saved us a lot of space in the car not having to bring those."
