"Just returned from a weekend break at Roselea House, can't thank Gill and Olwyn enough for their very generous hospitality! The house is beautifully decorated, with a lot of love and attention to detail clearly having gone into its presentation. It is also impeccably clean, and the bedrooms are light and airy with comfortable beds. The facilities are great - the house was equipped with everything you could possibly need including washing machines, towels, bed linen, etc. The house itself is only a stone's throw from Bempton Cliffs, and is also only a short walk to the local pub which serves lovely food. The house's location is also very handy for day trips to the nearby seaside towns of Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. I would not hesitate to stay again and will be very highly recommending Roselea House to friends and family looking for a quality getaway on the Yorkshire Coast. "

"Visited Easter Bank Holiday weekend with a group of friends, and had an excellent weekend. The cottage is in a beautiful location, furnished to a high standard and is also impeccably clean. There is lots of communal space to spend time in- which was perfect for us. The owners, Gill and Olwyn, couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly, which just topped our stay off. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay again, its a hidden gem. I'd highly recommend a visit."

"We've just returned from a lovely week long stay at Roselea House The photos certainly don't do it justice. It's a very clean, comfortable and well appointed property ideally located within walking distance of a nice local pub. A popular place to eat on a Friday and Saturday so booking essential on those days Pub quiz on a Tuesday but get your thinking caps on and make sure you're there for 8 to get a seat Back to the house. 2 living rooms meant we had space to ourselves should you wish that and a great kitchen for cooking and eating in 1 shower room and 1 bathroom. And a third wc meant we never had to wait around in a morning to get ready for our day exploring the Yorkshire Coast Gill and Olwyn were great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Great cake too !! Will recommend to friends "

"Lovely home, clean, tidy, fully equipped with two reception rooms and a large kitchen diner. The photos don't do it justice, it's tastefully decorated and would be cosy for a winter retreat with the lovely log burner. Great quiet village with fantastic walks. Cliff walks with views of birds including puffins. Village park catered for younger children. Fantastic food at the village pub. Easy access to Scarborough and Bridlington. Great indoor pool in Bridlington leisure center with slides. York is beautiful and worth a visit. We have stayed at a few holiday homes and this was the best."
