This delightful detached cottage is situated six miles from the medieval heritage town of Athenry in County Galway and can sleep twelve people in four bedrooms. Four bedrooms: 1 x double downstairs bedroom with TV, DVD and en-suite walk-in electric shower, basin and WC, 1 x king-size upstairs bedroom with en-suite with steam room, shower, jacuzzi bath tub, TV and DVD, basin and WC, 1 x family room upstairs with TV, DVD and 2 doubles with en-suite walk-in shower, 1 x family room upstairs with 2 single beds, 1 double bed and full en-suite with TV and DVD, basin and WC. Main ground floor bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, separate walk-in pump shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with multi-fuel stove. Utility. Sitting room (seats 7) with electric imitation fire. Conservatory (seats 8). Games room with a pool table, table football, table tennis and mountain bikes. (Please note that there are black out blinds on roof windows in bedrooms on first floor).

There is a family bathroom on the ground floor. The rest of the property contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with multi-fuel stove. There is an additional sitting area (seats 5) with an open fire, a conservatory, a utility and a games room with pool table, table football, table tennis and mountain bikes. To the outside of the property there is ample off road parking and a front enclosed lawned garden and rear patio with furniture and barbecue. A Country View Cottage is a spacious property ideal for families or groups of friends looking to explore this lovely part of the Emerald Isle. Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes. Athenry is a medieval heritage town in County Galway in the west of Ireland. The town's charter was granted in 1235 and has town walls dating from 1310, of which approximately two thirds still remain. Athenry Castle dates from the 13th century and retains a three storey tower which now houses an exhibition area. The town has an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants and is home to Athenry Golf Club. The city of Galway is just 15 miles away and has a large selection of attractions and is regarded as one of the best tourist destinations in Europe. The coastline and beaches of the west of Ireland are just a short drive away, making Athenry a superb holiday destination for touring this beautiful part of Ireland.
