Set over three floors there is a second floor double bedroom, a ground floor shower room, a ground floor kitchen with dining area and a first floor sitting room with multi-fuel stove. Outside there is free parking in the car park opposite and an enclosed front patio with furniture. Puzzle Cottage is a wonderful holiday base. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

Electric central heating with multi-fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with large ice box compartment, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and fuel for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Free parking in car park opposite. Enclosed front patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops 1 mile, pub 5 mins walk. Note: Due to steep spiral stairs, no children or infants are allowed at the property, this includes babes-in-arms.

In the heart of Herriot Country, the village of Harmby has its own pub and is very well placed for walking or touring. Nearby, the market town of Leyburn is dominated by its large market square, which boasts a Friday market. Leyburn is known as the 'Gateway to Wensleydale', with beautiful views from its western edge across the Dale. The town has much to offer with its many craft shops, galleries and tearooms. There are many lovely walks for all abilities in this beautiful area, as well as delightful villages to explore.

"Amazing, quirky cottage with an unusual layout. Perhaps not for everybody but we loved it. Amazing use of space, very well-equipped and very comfortable. Great location - Superb scenery on the doorstep and within easy reach of many interesing places to visit. Spoilt for choice for eating out - everything from pub grub to fine dining within a short drive. Lovely owner - thought of everything!"
"Puzzle Cottage is charming and quirky, with bags of character and snugness. We found the cottage had everything we needed for our quiet, weekend getaway; including a nice, comfy bed and plenty of ideas for places to visit and eat! We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The patio is a little sun trap and great for sitting and relaxing in the evening. Harmby itself is a quiet little backwater and shops are only a mile away in Leyburn. We particularly loved the waterfall behind the cottage. The scenery around the cottage, and the dales are simply stunning. A visit to the cheese factory is a must, as well as Forbidden Corner! We'll be back to Puzzle Cottage for more R&R and more cheese!"
