Open plan living area with kitchen, central dining island and sitting area with woodburner.
Witches Cottage is a terraced barn conversion cottage on a working farm in the tiny hamlet of Chop Gates, ten miles north of Helmesley in the North York Moors National Park. the cottage sleeps four people and has two double bedrooms (one with an en-suite), a shower room and an open plan living area with a kitchen and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking and a communal gravelled garden with river and outdoor furniture. Set in glorious countryside, Witches Cottage is an ideal holiday cottage for discovering all of North Yorkshire. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Situated on the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park, Helmsley is a prestigious market town with a spacious market square surrounded by houses, hotels and shops. There is excellent walking on the doorstep - the Cleveland Way starts in Helmsley - and the surrounding North York Moors with their hidden dales and villages are pretty in all seasons.
