Over two floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link can be a twin bed on request), 1 x double. Bathroom with freestanding bath, walk-in waterfall shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with woodburning stove.

There is a family bathroom. The rest of the property contains a kitchen with dining area and sitting room with woodburning stove. To the outside there is free parking in the nearby car park or roadside parking outside the property, both on a first come, first served basis. There is an enclosed patio with wood-fired hot tub. Ivy Cottage is an ideal touring base for families or groups of friends looking to explore the delights of the Yorkshire Dales. Gas central heating with woodburning stove, underfloor heating on ground floor and bathroom. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, Smart TV with Sky and Sky sports. DVD, radio, iPod dock, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair provided but no linen for cot. Loading/unloading outside property with free parking in the town square 100 yards on first come, first served basis. Enclosed patio. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. 4pm check in

Settle is a popular market town situated at the south west rim of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The market day in Settle is held on a Tuesday and the town has shops, restaurants, pubs and a public swimming pool. The famous Settle-Carlisle Railway crosses some of the most beautiful and inspiring upland scenery in the country and the natural attractions of Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are well worth exploring. Also within driving distance is the nearby towns of Skipton and Malham.

"First impressions were very impressive. Lovely flowers when entering the cottage, milk in the fridge and all your kitchen essentials. However when looking closer the cottage was quite dated, paint coming off of the walls and seemed like it needed a good deep clean. Decent retro hot tub however this was in a dog friendly court yard where dogs had clearly urinated which kind of killed the vibe. Lovely location for hiking and local pubs. You can definitely get better value for your money, will not be returning."

"We booked Ivy Cottage to celebrate the new year with friends and had a fantastic stay. When we arrived the owner, Lianne had kindly left us a bottle of prosecco, mince pies and cookies to enjoy. The cottage is beautiful, the beds were nice and comfortable, it was well equipped for our week away and the underfloor heating was a big hit! Having the travel cot and highchair supplied was also an added bonus. The village of settle is great, with lots of places to eat, drink and walks to enjoy. On New Years Eve we walked to the station and caught the train into Skipton for a few hours, the train only took 30 minutes. We made our way back later on and ate in The Lion that evening. Great food and atmosphere! Whilst in the area we ate at The Royal Oak which served nice food and also The Old Man Cafe, great coffee and cakes! We can't say anything negative about our stay here as it was amazing from start to finish. Lianne did everything she could to make our stay one not to forget, even coming to apologise to us and bringing spare Christmas tree lights on our first day as the ones on the tree had blown the day before we arrived. Lianne, your cottage is beautiful and having the hot tub was also an added bonus as we did manage to use this on one of the evenings. We will definitely be recommending Ivy Cottage to others and would return in the future. Happy New Year!!!"
"Perfect.Perfect.Perfect. The cottage its location and the amenities The cottage is beautifully decorated. It is contemporary yet cosy with great care and attention to every detail. Underfloor heating down stairs and in the bathroom keeps the place toasty warm along with the wood burner The most comfortable beds ever and we always had a good nights sleep A wood fired hot tub was a revelation Our complimentary fizz and mince pies were most welcome In site of the village centre with good pubs and restaurants on the door step and fabulous walks I could go on but I recommend you try this special cottage for your self"
"We have just arrived back home from a 3 night stay at Ivy Cottage and cannot recommend it enough. We were so happy with just how clean the place was and all the surprise added extras that we are already planning our next stay. It is situated just a few yards away from the town where there are plenty of things to see. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and most are dog friendly which is great if you are bringing a furry friend! The cottage itself is very modern and so cosy. It was so nice to go for a long walk, buy a cake from one of the many local bakeries and take it back to the cottage to sit in front of the log fire with a cup of tea! A fantastic mini break for myself, my fiance, our son (9) and our 14 month old cocker spaniel Walter!"
"I have just spent three nights in this lovely charming cottage, this break was a present from my daughter and her boyfriend for my wife and I. Ivy Cottage is 100 metres from the town centre, it has a large living room with a wood burner and the kitchen is modern and well equipped and can easily fit six people around the large dining table. Upstairs there are 3 charming bedrooms, two double and a single. The bathroom is also modern and large with a great bath and a really modern shower. Outside at the back of the cottage there's a wood burning hot tub. I am now looking at my diary to make further bookings as I enjoyed my stay so much."
