Highdown is a lovely detached cottage in Bigbury-on-Sea, just six miles from Modbury in Devon. The cottage can sleep six people and has one double bedroom and two twins, together with a bathroom. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner, together with a conservatory with a dining area. Outside is off road parking for three cars and a private lawned garden with furniture. Highdown is a delightful cottage with lovely views in a stunning part of Devon and a perfect location for exploring the area. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 3 cars. Enclosed lawned gardens with furniture. Two small to medium well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: Mobile phone coverage intermittent

"Stayed at Highdown for a week. The place. Is absolutely perfect with glorious views. Very clean and welll presented. Would definitely recommend"
"Property is in need of full update, it is tired and obviously has not been subject to redecoration for some years. On entering the property we were greeted by a swarm of flies. At the end count after some 2/3 hours we had killed over 30 flies! The tin opener did work at all, there was only coal slack left in a bag in the utility room, and no kindling or firelighters. There was also a 'fusty' smell when entering the property. The location is the only saving grace, and if you have a larger vehicle than a standard saloon, the entrance gate is extremely tight. A Range Rover, or BMW X5 sized vehicle would have difficulty getting into the driveway. In short, property is 'down at heel' and requires updating. We would not return or recommend!"
