"Great base for coastal walks, cycling and sandman triathlon and very close to Newborough nature reserve offering great walks including llandwyn island. Great house for family holidays and ideal for our family of 8. House spacious and well equipped. We loved the quizzes that were provided and the information on the coastal walks was really helpful. A highlight of the week was seeing the Dolphins at Point Linas. A great relaxing holiday."

"Wonderful, pet-friendly accommodation suitable for families or large groups of friends! There was plenty of room for us - four adults, two children and a dog. Location is perfect - the house is just a five minute drive away from Newborough Beach. Lots of family-frendly attractions nearby, such as Angelsey Sea Zoo and Pili Palas Nature World. Plas Newydd House and Garden, which is a beautiful national trust site with a woodland and treehouse, is also worth a visit and located around 20 minutes away from Minffordd. The house has a lovely lawned garden at the back, suitable for children and pets to play in. Rooms are nice and spacious and plenty of space for families to dine together in the evenings. David the owner gave us a nice welcome upon arrival. We'll definitely be visiting again!"

"A very warm welcome from the owner when we arrived, who was eager to help us settle in. As a three generational family there was plenty of room, very well equipped with constant hot water and all the facilities we needed. The house is ideally situated to explore Anglesey and North West Wales. I would wholeheartedly recommend this house, excellent value and quiet location."

"Stayed here for two weeks in October lovely warm house with loads of space we went with family and we had plenty of room. The top floor twin rooms are wonderful for children gives them their own space to have time out. Everything is catered for in Kitchen and through the house it is a really warm house. The garden is brilliant for the children and our dog loved it. Beach is near and lovely walks in forest would definately recommend this property, we have already booked for next year. David the owner is lovely and nothing is too much trouble for him."

"We were a medium-sized extended family group not knowing what to expect, but on arrival were pleasantly surprised with what was on offer as the price had been so reasonable. The large detached house has been modernised to a high standard with double glazing throughout among other improvements, and I gather more are in the pipeline. In particular there are multiple large tables for dining, study, sewing or whatever - if you want to host the Wannsee Conference while on holiday, this is your spot! Double attic bedrooms are ideal for teenagers wanting to disappear into a space of their own. Very large and really quite charming private lawned garden at the back - is camping allowed if needed? - we wondered, but in the event didn't need to so didn't ask. The village itself has nothing exceptional to recommend it but is well-placed for the island in general and the beach in particular thus is quiet, safe and convenient. There is a dedicated road leading to the main beach car park which will suit the families, but don't feel obliged to get in your car along with all the others - instead, get yourself an OS walking map then head down into the village and out via the fields and woods. It is easy to spend several hours exploring the long stretches of beach from Malltreath Sands to Abermenai Point, as well as wending slowly round LLanddwyn Island, which might need to be paddled across to at high tide. Thanks again to David and Fiona for their hospitality, a very enjoyable week's holiday."

"Wanted a convenient place on Anglesey for a family of 9 (including two children under 10) for a week. Very comfortable and well appointed accommodation with plenty of space to spread out - two TVs meant no arguments over what to watch in the evenings! Safe and secure garden with plenty of room for the kids to play and adults to relax. Great location to explore Anglesey, and not far from the wonderful beach. The owners (Dave and Fiona) were friendly and helpful and happy to suggest places to visit and eat out. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Happy to recommend to anyone."
