Ty Wood Cottage is a ground floor cottage in the village of Rhoscolyn, just three miles from Trearddur Bay. The cottage sleeps five people and has one double bedroom with en-suite toilet and one twin, along with a family shower room. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen, dining room and a sitting room with woodburner and single sofa bed. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a patio with furniture, barbecue and chimnea. Situated in the heart of the Isle of Anglesey, Ty Wood Cottage is a lovely family cottage all year round. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Electric wall heaters with woodburner. Electric double oven, electric two-ring freestanding induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with basic Sky, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi (not suitable for streaming), selection of books and DVDs, telephone for emergency calls only. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Additional fuel available to purchase from owner. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent, please bring own beach towels. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Patio with decking and furniture, chiminea and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 min walk. Beach 2 mins walk. Note: Limited mobile phone signal from some providers. Note: Holiday caravan to rear of double bedroom window. Note: Dog must be kept on a lead outside the property. Note: There's a public right of way through the garden. Note: There's a step up into the property and a small step from the hall to the dining room.

Located on Holy Island, three miles from Trearddur Bay, Rhoscolyn is a small village with a church and primary school and is the most southerly place on Holy Island. Rhoscolyn also offers an excellent pub on the lane down to the beach, which is renowned for its gastro food, and the beach itself with its slipway, ideal for small dinghies and power boats, is a popular family destination throughout the summer owing to the sheltered cove and gently sloping sands. Also excellent cliff-top walks can be enjoyed and an abundance of wildlife can be seen, often including seals on the headland.

"First on the list of 'needs' for our Autumn escape was 'dog friendly' and Ty Wood Cottage fits the bill perfectly. The place is spacious, very clean, very comfortable and located perfectly for exploring the western and southern sides of Anglesey and further afield without too much difficulty. We made full use of Rhoscolyn's picturesque beach,which is an easy five to ten minute walk along a country lane, and walked the dog there twice a day. As for necessary provisions, there's a Spa Shop not too far away (not walking distance) and around 4 miles away a Tesco Extra store. Very close to the cottage there's a pub/restaurant, also dog friendly. We booked Ty Woods as a couple but then our daughter asked if there was room for her to stay a couple of nights as well. 'Of course,' said the owner, Carolann, and a bed was made up for her on our arrival. Also waiting for us was a nice bottle of wine - a very nice touch. I would absolutely recommend Ty Woods Cottage, it was perfect for our needs and we will be back again sometime soon."
