The Berwick is a lovely terraced cottage situated in the village of Belford, just five miles from Bamburgh in Northumberland. The cottage can sleep six people and has one second floor king-size double bedroom with balcony, one double and one twin together with a family bathroom and a ground floor basin and WC. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a private enclosed gardenwith patio and furniture. The Berwick is a delightful cottage in a lovely part of the country. Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Private enclosed lawned garden with patio furniture. Balcony with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. Note: Children should be supervised when on the balcony. Note: No stag/hen or similar.

The picturesque Northumberland village of Belford lies in the heart of Heritage countryside, midway between the popular walled towns of Alnwick and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, with its sweeping beaches and dramatic castle, is only a short drive away. Belford itself is an old coaching village with a pleasant square and offers a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants and a nine-hole golf course. It is ideally placed for exploring the Cheviots, the renowned Northumberland Coastline and the Scottish Borders.

"House was one of the best I've stayed in over the years. Was huge and spacious. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. House was very well furnished and didn't have to want for anything. Shop is a mere 3 minute walk away and pub/food is another 2 mins. Not going to dwell on any negatives as the positives totally outweigh them."
"We loved the country setting (yet only a few minutes from the A1), the large bedrooms, the fully equipped spacious kitchen with large dining table, the large bathroom with walk in shower and bath, breakfast on the roof terrace (a real sun trap), relaxing in the hot tub, and the enclosed garden (for our dog). Belford is a friendly little town with all the local amenities within easy walking distance of the cottage, yet only a short drive from the lovely beach at Bamburgh and the big town amenities of Alnwick. We were pleasantly surprised at how many dog-friendly pubs and shops there were in the area generally - so it was great to all get out together of an evening. Despite the Berwick being a pet-friendly cottage, and our border terrier Bobbi loved it, there was absolutely no sign of any previous tenants being of the 4-legged variety, as the owner Colin keeps it equipped and maintained to a high standard. Thoroughly enjoyed our week there."
