The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren.

"We stayed in this lovely cottage earlier in the year, and wouldn't want to be anywhere else while visiting the beautiful Bronte village of Hawarth. We stayed over the brass band weekend, with carols by candlelight on our last evening, popping into the Black Bull afterwards, which has been refurbished and reopened recently. The cottage is situated just a short walk from the top of the main street, full of interesting little shops, places to eat, galleries etc. The cottage is perfectly presented, with every room ready for a truly comfortable and relaxing stay, with everything necessary and so much more. We made use of the wood burner in the sitting room this time, as we had snow during our stay, so it was very cold outside, but snuggling by the fire in the sitting room, watching films and playing games, was just a magical way to start our Christmas. The lovely owners had very kindly left us gifts once again, making us feel very welcome in this perfectly lovely 'home from home' cottage. We have already booked again for next Christmas, and can't wait to be here once again!"

"We booked last minute for a short break for our wedding anniversary, first impression very nice spacious and well appointed, it has everything you need, large bedrooms very nice bathroom, we had breakfast each moo and the large ding room was great, location very close to the top of Main St, where the Fleece pub serves good meals and beers, At this time of year heated needed and was set to on, each time we came in it was on and stayed warm. Thank you for a very nice and chilled stay. Alan & Alison Holt"
