Plas Yolyn is a luxurious and detached Grade II listed stately home, steeped in history and situated 4 miles from Ellesmere in Shropshire. It sleeps 14 people in seven bedrooms, all of which offer en-suite shower facilities and there are also three ground floor cloakrooms and a family bathroom with a free standing bath, a walk-in shower and a two person sauna. The bedrooms comprise of one ground floor double, a ground floor twin which can convert to a super king-size double, three king-size doubles, a further double and a twin. There is also a kitchen with an AGA and a breakfast table, a dining room, a sitting room with an open fire, an entrance hall with a seating area and a woodburner, a snug, a games room with table tennis and a utility. Outside there is ample off road parking, lockable bike storage, 10 acres of gardens and grounds with lawns, woodland and lakes and a patio area with furniture, a BBQ and a hot tub, as well as a tennis court. Plas Yolyn is a truly special property in a fantastic location, sure to leave you with superb memories of a luxurious break away.

Fuel, power and fuel for fire and woodburners inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, 2 highchairs, two stairgates, fireguard and two single day beds on request. Ample off road parking. Bike storage racks. 10 acres of gardens and grounds with lawns, woodland and lake. Patio with furniture, BBQ and hot tub. Tennis court. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: There is an unfenced lake at the property, care to be taken and children to be supervised. Note: Check-in 4pm

The pretty market town of Ellesmere with its Tudor, Georgian and Victorian buildings quietly nestles between the Shropshire Meres and the well-known Shropshire to Llangollen canal, in an area renowned as Shopshire's Lakeland.

"We stayed in this large spacious house near Oswestry with our four children, their spouses and 5 grandchildren under three. There was lots of communal space to spread out in when the weather wasn't good. the games room was a fantastic resource. En suite to all large rooms was wonderful in the morning. The grounds outside allowed custard trails in the woods, cricket of a sort on the lawn, trike riding on the tennis court, dinosaur egg hunts and relaxing in the hot tub. With National Trust cards we managed to go somewhere everyday for free and would especially recommend the Ironworks Centre. A great week. Thanks to all who made it possible."
"Just returned from a 3 night weekend stay. House is beautiful and the owners have thought of everything you might need to make your stay perfect, from the kitchen utensils to a tennis court. The fittings and decor in the house are to an excellent standard. Games room is perfect for young children and adults too with a great table tennis table. Lovely hot tub and wonderful grounds to explore. I would highly recommend and only hope that we can set a date again for us all to return."
