Rowan Cottage is a well-presented, modern terraced cottage situated in the village of Barton on Sea adjoining the town of New Milton in Hampshire. Boasting three bedrooms, one king-size double with a folding bed, one single and one bunk room, as well as a family bathroom, this cottage sleeps up to six people. A kitchen and sitting/dining room that leads to the enclosed paved garden with furniture completes the accommodation. There is off road parking for one car and alternative parking available just past the property on a first come, first served basis. Roman Cottage is a lovely cottage suitable for couples or family groups to explore this coastal area. Barton on Sea is a clifftop village adjoining the town of New Milton, only 5.5 miles from Christchurch on the south coast. Situated at the eastern end of Christchurch Bay. Explore the New Forest National Park or visit the National Motor Museum or the gardens at Exbury.

"Booked a weekend stay at this house, upon arrival we found it very clean, tidy and nicely equipped , furniture and beds were comfortable. We found it quite easy to find having checked google maps before leaving, its away from the main road in a quite cul-de-sac. It made a good base for us to explore the surrounding area . We would definitely use this house again if visiting the area ."
"Rowan Cottage is ideal for families, couple and sole travellers. It is close to cliff top walks and shopping as well as local restaurants, pubs and take-aways. Although it is close to the main road, it is in an area off a quiet cul-de-sac which is quiet and safe with dedicated parking. The property is well equipped and tastefully decorated with a sea-side theme. The bed was very comfy and linens are of good quality. Even the lighting is bright enough to read by on any dark, rainy days and the WiFi was reliable throughout my visit. I'd certainly recommend this property."
"I booked this through Sykes Cottages, the whole process was easy. Upon arrival the house was clean and well maintained, lovely beachy feel to the decor. It is exactly as described with some nice surprises such as extra garden chairs/dvds books and games library/tea and coffee. We have school age children who loved it, we used the house as a base for day trips to Bournemouth, the New Forest and local attractions, which it was perfect for. With a local shop/pubs/takeways/restaurants in walking distance too. We will be back!"
