The apartment sleeps two people in one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There is also an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a shared garden and yard. The Granary is in a fantastic location to visit everything that Lincoln has to offer or for a romantic, rural retreat. From rolling countryside to historic cathedral cities and traditional seaside resorts, Lincolnshire offers a peaceful alternative to the discerning holidaymaker.

Askham is a small rural Nottinghamshire village just off the A57 and close to the A1. The village has a pub. Sherwood Forest is just 11 miles away, with the Robin Hood visitors centre providing wonderful woodland walks including to the renowned Major Oak tree, with picnic areas also available. The National Trust's Clumber Park has 3,800 acres of spectacular scenery where you can walk or cycle, gardens, and a lake with 200 species of birds. The Wetlands Waterfowl Reserve is seven miles away with 32 acres of fishing lakes and woodland, along with an exotic birds sanctuary and animals. The area offers galleries and museums, while the Roman city of Lincoln, 17 miles away, has a cathedral and castle, and historic Newark, 15 miles away, has two castles, frequent antiques fairs, a fine Georgian market square and a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.

They are beautiful apartments and so well equipped, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Set in a beautiful countryside location the grounds are immaculate and Sue and her daughter are lovely hosts. I would stay here again and would recommend to anybody looking for a few days in the country."
