This first floor apartment is situated on a holiday park, with a number of on-site facilities, near Filey and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. All first floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x adult bunk. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed.
Denby Retreat is a lovely first floor apartment on The Bay holiday village, just three miles from Filey. This apartment sleeps four people and has a double with en-suite shower, an adult bunk room and a bathroom. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with single sofa bed. Outside there's off road parking for one car, communal lawned grounds with picnic areas, lakes and barbecues, and a number of facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and tennis courts. Denby Retreat is a welcoming apartment for couples or a small family. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Facilities & Amenities
Gas central heating. Electric oven with ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair, please bring own cot bedding. Parking for 1 car in shared car park next to property. Communal lawned grounds with picnic areas, lakes and BBQs. Communal leisure facilities including free use of large indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Gym, beauty treatments, tennis, putting green, bike hire etc are available at an additional charge. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. On-site shop, pub and cafe 5 mins walk. Beach 10 mins walk. Note: Use of the indoor heated swimming pool, children's pool, sauna and steam room is included in the rental price. The gym and additional facilities and activities are available at additional cost, payable on-site. Note: Lakes on-site, children to be supervised.

"We have just had a great week at the bay. This appartment is first class in comparison with the other 4 we have stayed in on previous visits, this one beats them all. The owners have thought of everything and we felt at home soon as we walked through the door. Our dog Ted loved it too with the meadows opposite and a short walk to the beach, he his now in his bed at home sulking ? the pub on site is good and dog friendly. "Myself and my wife are a big fan of Yorkshire and were very excited to take our children there for the first time. My wife found Denby Retreat through Sykes Cottages and although the weather let us down after a long time away from Yorkshire this gem of an apartment did not. This apartment is ideal for a family with a dog. Its was a cosy first floor apartment that was directly opposite a field and fishing pond for a happy dog and a football area for a happy son. The people who rent out the apartment leave a very helpful folder with a full listing of things to do in the surrounding areas which was very appreciated as well lots of fun games for a young family to enjoy on a rainy evening. Yorkshire itself was stunning as usual with some of the friendliest of people. The apartment is a short walk to the beach and the kids thought it was one of the nicest beaches they have been to. The only negative was the lack of a decent shop on site but that's no fault of Denny Retreat and Filey is a short drive away with a Tesco. This apartment is a perfect place to stay for exploring Yorkshire and although the rain wouldn't leave us alone we would definitely book up again."
"Brilliant apartment for myself, husband and 2 and half year old daughter. Apartment was clean and fully equipt with everything you needed, owners are super friendly too. Dog friendly apartment but you would never know an animal had been there. Location was excellent having the beach, pool and walks on site and loads of things to do within short driving distance. We would definitely recommend as we had a wonderful holiday ?"

"Denby retreat is set on a quiet site of beautiful looking houses and apartments, with amenities such as a pizzeria, local pub and swimming pool. Shop is a short drive (approx 1mille) which didn't bother us. The apartment was lovely and clean, had a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need for your stay. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we had a great time relaxing and spending quality family time in the apartment. The owners supplied an information book with details of places to visit and eat with or without your pet dog which was handy for us as we had taken our dog with us, we did utilise it and found some lovely places , such as falling foss waterfalls which was amazing. It also contained vital info such as local doctor/vets and tide times. A short walk from the beach, which was lovely and clean, and not far to walk along the beach into Filey, which again was enjoyable. Will definitely be going back as we had a wonderful time here would definitely recommend."
