The Old Stable is a delightful, cosy, semi-detached cottage set in the heart of the popular village of Gilwern, situated amidst the Brecon Beacons and can sleep two people. There is one double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is roadside parking opposite the cottage on a first come, first served basis. Ideally placed to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park with its abundance of walking, cycling and pony trekking, The Old Stable is a lovely holiday base. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Sky Movies and entertainment channels), DVD, CD, Bluetooth speaker, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking opposite property on first come, first served basis. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk.

"Situated near Abergaveny in Gilwern, a friendly village with shops including a butcher, Pubs that do good food. There is a fish and chip shop I would recommend too. This It is a good location for walkers and cyclists, the canal tow path is very close by. The Stable cottage is a good base for exploring the Brecon Beacons and the Black mountains. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise on arrival."
"Excellent clean and neat one bedroomed cozy cottage for two. Dog friendly cottage with dog friendly pubs around the area. Welcome basket on arrival. Friendly locals. Towels and bedding provided. Canal path at the rear of the property."
