Electric double oven and induction hob, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Smart TV with Freeview and catch up service, Blu-ray, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair, stairgates and baby items on request. Roadside parking on first come, first served basis. Enclosed rear yard with furniture and charcoal BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pub and beach 2 mins walk.

The bustling little seaport of Amble is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. Historically a centre for boatbuilding, Amble offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land a variety of fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters - the daily catch can be bought at a fish shop in the harbour.

"Had such a lovely short stay here with a group of girl friends. From the moment we walked in I was impressed. The cottage is so cosy and comfortable that you will have to force yourself to go out and visit the beautiful Northumberland coast line. It was spacious, clean and had some lovely touches in terms of decoration. There is a full kitchen with anything you could need for your stay. Literally everything has been thought about for the convenience of the guests. There is also good speed WiFi and a shop just a couple of minutes walk down the road. We went to The Boathouse for tea which is in a lovely setting and the food was so good. The bonus was it was only a short walk to get there from the cottage. There was also a little market we had a look around on the Sunday along with stalls with local sellers of food and arts and crafts. This cottage would also work as an excellent base for people staying longer and wanting a base to go and explore more of Northumberland. Really enjoyable stay. "
