This first and second floor apartment is located above a convenience store in the village of Grange-over-Sands, and can sleep up to 10 people in five bedrooms. Over first and second floors. 5 bedrooms: 1 x second floor super king with sofa bed and en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x first floor double, 1 x second floor double, 1 x single, 1 x second floor single. Bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Second floor bathroom with bath, basin and WC. First floor kitchen with dining area. First floor utility. First floor sitting room with woodburning stove.
Church view is a first and second floor apartment, set above a convenience store, in the village of Grange-over-Sands just two miles from Cartmel. The cottage sleeps up to 10 people and has three double bedrooms, one with an en-suite and one with a double sofa bed, plus two single bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one with a separate shower and Jacuzzi bath. Also in the apartment is a kitchen diner, a utility room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for two cars, an enclosed patio with furniture and secure, lockable bike storage. Situated in the Lake District, Church View is a lovely family holiday home all year round Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 4 x TVs (three with FreeSat, one with Freeview), DVD, Blu-ray, 2 x iPod dock, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot (no cot mattress or bedding supplied) and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars only in designated parking bays, other cars would need to use the public car park nearby. Private lockable bike storage. Enclosed patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop, pub and town amenities less than 1 min walk. Note: Six steps leading up to the property, and steps leading down to the patio and bike storage. Note: This cottage is located above a convenience store/off-licence. Note: Please bring own cot mattress and cot bedding for the travel cot.

The charming Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands is set between the Lake District fells and Morecambe Bay and offers one of the mildest climates in the north of England. Formerly a small fishing village, the introduction of the Furness Railway transformed Grange-over-Sands into a fashionable Edwardian resort. Today, the town has much to offer the visitor including a traffic-free promenade, delightful ornamental gardens, golf courses, brass band concerts and excellent bird watching.

"My daughter booked this property. The house was very clean and tidy when we all arrived. The beds were comfortable and has a very good heating system. We could not find any kind of information booklet with regard to using the spa bath, condensing tumble drier, cooker etc, in the end we found the switch for the bath and finally worked out how the drier worked. It is located within easy reach of three small supermarkets, the only downside to this is some members of the family were woken very early when Tescos across the road had a delivery around 6.30am. Also the property sits above a Bargain Booze shop which can be heard mainly when opening the shutters but not too intrusive. I would suggest having a few more large pans in the kitchen. As the house can accommodate ten people, cooking spag bol for this number with just one large pan and two small pans simply is not enough. On the whole all the family enjoyed this property."
"This flat is absolutely great for position, plenty of space, big rooms and good facilities. I would make it a regular place to stay in a heartbeat EXCEPT the mattresses were so uncomfortable I hardly got any good sleep/rest. Can't believe nobody has mentioned this previously, 4 adults have all had the same experience on the main bedroom mattress and the doubles too. Ended up using the duvets as toppers to try to make it better. Would love to go back but not until the box spring rock hard mattresses have gone! Please let me know when they're changed! Most important thing for a holiday is to catch up on rest so please change them for decent ones, never slept in any hotel/apartment with such bad ones. Sorry. If you book take a topper with you and it's a great place!!!! "

"We booked a family weekend away for 10 of us and this property was perfect. Wonderful decor, high spec kitchen, whirlpool bath, powerful showers and set over three floors. Great local amenities and only 20mins from Windermere. We all had a brilliant time and our only disappointment was missing out on booking this place for Christmas 2016! "
"We stayed in this rental for a week over the Christmas period. There were 10 of us from the same family with ages ranging from early twenties to mid eighties. Everyone in the party loved the house. The standard of accommodation was very high,everything was spotlessly clean. The house was very nicely furnished and cosy and the log burning stove was great. There were nice touches like the welcome pack with tea coffees, preserves and nice miniature toiletries in bathrooms. The rental is in a good location for exploring the Lake District and surrounding areas. The house was quiet and peaceful but all the town amenities were within a few minutes walk. The owner had decorated the house for Christmas which included 2 trees which was a lovely touch. We had an excellent Christmas despite the rain and would not hesitate to recommend this house."
"So we arrived at this cottage on Friday evening, once we entered and viewed all the rooms it seemed as if people had slept in the bed and all the covers in every room has hair all over the pillows, as if the bed covers were not changed. Second a number of flies and bees in the kitchen cabinet, the bathrooms had towels chucked in the bathtubs and on the floors, toilet was disgusting and to finish it off the wifi was absolutely rubbish. At first it seemed as if we had been double booked but came to a realisation that the cottage hadn't been cleaned. We drove 4 hours to get to Cumbria to come to this mess, which was appalling ruined our entire weekend. I would tell anyone thinking to go here to avoid at all cost. And a note to the owner you can't state your a 5* cottage and provide such appalling service."
