This lovely, welcoming and homely end-terrace cottage is in the centre of Bala and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x ground floor king-size double, 1 x single. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. First floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with sofa bed, electric fire and balcony. Conservatory.

There is a ground floor king-size double bedroom, a single bedroom, a ground floor bathroom, a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an electric fire, sofa bed and balcony and there is also a conservatory. Outside there is off road parking for one car, additional, free roadside parking opposite, lockable storage for bikes, kayaks etc. in the garage and a rear yard with a small wooden bench and a first floor balcony with furniture. Yr Hen Olchfa is a lovely holiday base. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The busy market town of Bala sits within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park and is located at the head of Llyn Tegid, The famous lake at Bala, is the largest natural lake in Wales and home to a unique fish called the Gwyniaid, which is a relic of the Ice Age. Celebrated as a centre for many fantastic water sports including fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and white water rafting.

"We booked a week and have ended up leaving early house was so dirty hair everywhere dishes had food on them sugar all over the work tops obviously wasn't cleaned before we arrived just the bed made up I think I luckily had spare blanket's with me as I didn't want to sleep in the bed after seeing the rest of the house bathroom was also unclean . Drive way said small to medium Sized car my car isn't big and didn't fit so had to try park across the road but that was full also in front of the house is a bus depo so 5:30am you hear every person and bus trying to squeeze in and out of there not really relaxing when you on holiday listening to all that in the morning and again at night. Yes there was a bottle of wine and cake left for us which I would normally think is a nice touch but I would of honestly preferred the house to be clean all this felt like it ruined our holiday a waste of money feel ripped off."
"Just spent a week at yr hen olchfa and found it very cosy. It was very well equipped so you don,t need to take any utensils with you in fact it had everything you would need and more. The parking was a bit tight even for a fiesta but I used the open parking across the road with no problem. The property is ideal if you want a base to travel around North Wales or if you just want to stay local being just off the high street. Recommend the white lion for a meal out. All in all a very nice property."
