This cottage sleeps two people and has one double bedroom with en-suite shower and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there's off road parking for two cars and shared use of the owners' extensive gardens with patio and furniture. Fir Cottage is an ideal romantic base for visiting a number of interesting places in the area. Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.

The pretty village of Woolaston nestles peacefully between the eastern edge of the Forest of Dean and the River Severn in Gloucestershire. The village offers a shop, Post Office and three pubs serving food, and the surrounding countryside provides excellent walking, cycling, fishing and nature watching opportunities. Five miles away is the historic walled town of Chepstow with its impressive Norman Castle and racecourse, and the market towns of Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye are within driving distance.
