Cobble Stones is a charming detached cottage set in an idyllic location, facing Loch Achilty, three miles from Strathpeffer in the Scottish Highlands. With three bedrooms, including one ground floor double, one first floor twin and one first floor double with en-suite shower room, this cottage will sleep six people. There's also a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with French doors opening onto a private patio garden with furniture and BBQ. Outside this cottage is ample off road parking, plus guests are able to arrange fly fishing on the loch. With an abundance of wildlife to discover along the many neighbouring walking and biking trails, the essence of the beautiful Scottish Highlands is never too far from this wonderful cottage. Often compared to a Bavarian Mountain resort, the picturesque spa village of Strathpeffer owes its growth to the discovery of water springs during the 1700s, and was declared in 1819 to be the healthiest drinking water in Britain! The original Spa Pavilion has been magnificently restored after a period of disuse and now serves as a venue for a variety of events, including concerts, dances, dramas and exhibitions.
