"Had a lovely weekend for my birthday celebrations with family. Accidentally left an expensive jumper when we left and asked the owner to return. He said he asked the cleaner to post it this was the 1st of march. I have recently ordered things from over seas and they have arrived perfectly so I am guessing the cleaner forgot or kept it for herself. I contacted the owner again several time and he says there is not much he can do and there is no proof of postage either. Word to the wise.... Double check you have everything before you leave because you won't receive it back "

"We have just stayed for 3 nights and apart from the fishing and hot tub we have to say the place really does need some TLC. It's a beautiful place but very much in need of a good clean and some homely feel. There was a very very bad smell coming from the kitchen and cobwebs everywhere. We tried so hard to find what the smell was but we never did. If you want a homely place that's clean and looked after then this is not it. We did advise the owner of this a couple of years ago but nothing has changed it's only got worse. Sorry for the bad review but needs must."

"Very disappointed with the overall location of the lodge on the site: this lodge as absolutely no sunlight at all and his fully in the shade surrounded by its own wood, so while all on site bask in the sun we were shivering in the shade. Had a full week so very disappointed. also we were looking forward to watching the RAF planes going over and again due to position and trees surrounding the lodge there was no visual sight of them. The outside area was lacking in any decent outdoor furniture in comparison to other lodges and no care of the patio area outside had been taken. The area was dirty and needed cleaning and treating. Inside the lodge was fine and comfortable although there is no privacy in terms of sound talking in all rooms and walking around inside was heard in every room. Okay to visit in the winter but avoid for summer months."

"Very spacious lodge in a nice location but it wasn't very luxurious. There was no welcome pack and basics were missing like oven gloves and bath mats. Also hot tub did not work for half of the time we were there and the owner ended up being very dishonest and hard to deal with. I would not recommend this property to anyone."

"We stopped for a week and had an amazing holiday. There was 4 adults, 2 babies and 2 dogs and we had plenty of room. The lodge itself is absolutely stunning and we particularly loved the hot tub. The lodge was perfect for our 2 families, with an area outside for the dogs, washer, dryer and dishwasher. The site the lodge was on was ok but not sure it was worth buying the passes as the swimming pool was tiny and the pub food fairly standard. We will however be returning as we had such a lovely time!"

"Perfect place to stay. Although this cabin is part of a massive complex you do not feel like it when you are in the cabin or sitting on the decking. It is located close enough to the entertainment that you can walk there, but far enough way that you do not hear it. If you do not want to pay the extra for the on site entertainment, there is a local pub called The Tattershall Park Country Pub and Kitchen, a short walk from the cabin. Plenty of space to relax and unwind, the hot tub is a great addition. Duck lake fishing is great, Tench, Carp, Roach, Skimmer Bream and the odd Perch. Lovely walks exploring the complex and surrounding area. Recommend a trip to RAF War Memorial Flight. Short walk to local village of Tattershall, through the park via Larch View number 35. We hope to be back sometime soon!"
