Outside there's a front, gravelled area with furniture and secure off road parking for one car. Taliesin is a wonderful base for exploring the harbour town of Porthmadog and this majestic part of North Wales. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

The harbour town of Porthmadog is situated on the Glaslyn Estuary and offers individual shops and restaurants, and is home to the Ffestiniog Railway. Close by is the pretty village of Borth Y Gest and the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion is just down the coast.
