Situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park, White Moss, Wood Close is a lovely family apartment from which to explore this lovely part of the world. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer in utility 10 yards from the door, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, Bluetooth and USB port, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 1 car. Shared use of woodland gardens with lawned areas and furniture. Private terrace with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 mile. Note: There is planned roof maintenance from the 13th September for 4 weeks

Situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park is the lovely village of Grasmere. The village is probably best known as the home of William Wordsworth, a place he once described as "The most loveliest spot that man hath found", plus any visit to Grasmere needs to include The Grasmere Gingerbread shop, where the Wilson family have been making gingerbread for over 60 years. Also in the village are a number of shops, pubs, a church which dates back to the 13th century.

"Very well turned out property, with a well appointed kitchen suitable for self catering. Views are stunning!! However this property should NOT be rented from November to April, due to the heating entirely inadiquit. It is preset to 19 degree mornings and evenings and 12 degrees the rest of the day (which it doesn't even click on during the day as it's standard set temp is so low). The rooms are large in height and single glazed, although there is a fan fire in the lounge which can heat the room comfortable, the kitchen and other bedrooms are very cold! So much so that we had to purchase a fan heater to purely heat the dining room/kitchen areas during mornings and evenings. The hoover we have used quite a few times in our stay, but it smells terribly on usage and needs cleaned out and washed which isn't for us to do."
