This superb, detached, large, luxurious, spacious cottage is set in a small hamlet, just outside of St Day, just three miles from Redruth, and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms. 2 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) one with en-suite basin and WC, 1 x double. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Dining room. Sitting room. Conservatory with dining area (seats 4). Games room.
Magpies Cottage is a superb, detached, large, luxurious, spacious cottage set in a small hamlet, just outside of St Day, just three miles from Redruth, and can sleep six people. Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Rangemaster double electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, Blu-ray/DVD, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 3 cars. Lawned garden with enclosed patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: The cottage is accessed down an un-made lane. Note: No stag/hen, or similar. NOTE - Please be advised that this property is for holiday purposes only.

Redruth is a town in Cornwall with a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Redruth is near to the beach at Portreath and resorts such as St Ives, Falmouth and the Lizard Peninsula.

"OK so TomTom didn't take me to the right address but it is actually easy to get to once you've found it. Some potholes in the unmade lane, but unless its a very low profile vehicle, taking it slowly causes no problems whatsoever. Its lovely and quiet day and night and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We were a party of 5 + 7 month old & we loved it. After many many self-catering hols in the UK, Magpie's cottage is far superior to most that we have stayed at for comfort and facilities. Fantastic value for money. We are currently looking at available dates for 2018, hoping for 2 weeks! Things we were pleased with: good set of knives, toys & books, so much space, games room, good bathroom, large bedrooms, cot & highchair, towels & linen provided. Great communication from the owner. Loved the cream tea - thank you :) What we'd love more of: chopping boards, better wifi reception. Drive easily took 3 cars. Large garden and patio areas make for great outdoors area. Indoors there is a spacious games room, a separate dining room, large kitchen with table & chairs (so much cupboard space!), separate utility section (washer/dryer, dishwasher, sink, fridge etc). Rangemaster cooker, microwave, food mixer. All easy to use. Lounge area and separate large lounge. Large conservatory was too hot to sit in on our visit but ideal for drying laundry on the airer :) Upstairs there are 3 good size bedrooms, largest with ensuite sink & toilet. The family bathroom is downstairs, modern, with bath, separate double shower, sink."
"We have had a lovely week in this house. We had everything we needed and more! The cream tea and milk in the fridge was a lovely welcome for us. The house was in a quiet location and not too far away for day trips to the coast."
"we spent the half term week here, when we arrived there was a cream tea and doughnuts left for us which was such a lovely touch to start the holiday on a perfect note. the photos do not do the place justice at all. Everything you could need has been supplied. the beds were so comfortable. we spent many fun evenings in the games room. it was perfectly situated to explore everything Cornwall has to offer. we would highly recommend this to anyone. we will be rebooking again for next year without a doubt."
"We spent a week in Magpies Cottage in June and loved every minute. The cottage is spacious and clean and is fully equipped with everything that you could need to make you feel at home. There is even a brand new barbecue and some outdoor games for children. Magpies is in a quiet location but is really central to everywhere. We visited some beautiful places, Kynance Cove, The Lizard, St Ives, St Michaels Mount and lots of beautiful beaches. We cant wait to return next year with the family."
