Overview
This detached stone cottage situated close to the village of Morfa Nefyn sleeps twenty people in eight bedrooms. Eight bedrooms: 1 x ground floor family room with 1 king-size double and 1 single with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x ground floor king-size double, 2 x ground floor double, 1 x ground floor king-size double, 1 x first floor low-level eaves mezzanine double, 1 x first floor eaves family room with 3 singles, 1 x first floor eaves family room with 1 double and 1 single with pull-out stacker bed. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Two ground floor shower rooms with shower, basin and WC. Conservatory with kitchen and sitting area. Dining room (seats 20) with comfy seating. Snug (seats 5) with open fire.
The Keepers Lodge is a superb detached stone cottage is situated in delightful countryside, close to a 4000-acre shooting estate, 2.5 miles from the village of Morfa Nefyn. The cottage sleeps twenty people in eight bedrooms, and there's also three bathrooms on the ground floor. The cottage also has a conservatory with kitchen and sitting area, a dining room with comfy seating and a snug with open fire. Outside there's off road parking for eight cars and a front and side lawned garden with furniture, fire pit and barbecue. The Keepers Lodge is a wonderful family base for exploring this lovely area of North Wales. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Electric central heating with open fire. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer with ice dispenser, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and fuel for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent (please bring own towels for the Hot Tub). 2 x cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 8 cars. Gravelled garden with furniture, Hot Tub (please bring own towels for the Hot Tub), fire pit and BBQ. Catering available on request and at additional cost; contact the owner prior to your stay. Two well-behaved dogs welcome on tiled floors only, kennels available. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 2 miles. Note: First floor bedrooms accessed via separate staircases. Note: The first floor bedrooms have restricted headroom and exposed beams. Note: Open staircase to first floor eaves family room. Note: Access partly along an unadopted lane. Note: Due to the property being in a remote country location, Note: Check-in 4pm. Note: This is a family property designed for family holidays and family celebrations. The pretty coastal village of Morfa Nefyn situated on stop of sweeping cliffs on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula. The village offers a two mile stretch of sandy beach, a Post Office, a shop with a cafe, and a pub/restaurant. The nearby town of Nefyn also offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and both are within reach of the amenities of the popular towns of Pwllheli and Abersoch.

"We spent ages looking for a house large enough to host 20 of us for my 30th birthday, and so were really pleased when we found the Keepers Lodge which offered enough bed space for everyone along with the open fire and hot tub which had been high on the wish list for the weekend. The gigantic table was perfect for group meals, and spacious kitchen and open plan welcome room proved very popular for lounging and monitoring the goings on in the hot tub. Were we to be booking again it would be very helpful to know that two of the bedrooms are not fully enclosed (one of which is directly above the lounge, making them really not public) and that some of the rooms for 3 or 4 comprise of an airbed on the floor. In the three single bed room in particular this meant someone was essentially sleeping in the eves of the house; I'm sure this would be fine for a family group, but we were all adults and it left some people feeling rather second class which was not the impression we wanted. Also the wording on the welcome booklet regarding the rubbish and use of electricity was borderline scary, which resulted in us worrying about being charged extra fees and taking steps to dispose of our rubbish ourselves. I mentioned this to the owner separately and was told we needn't have gone to this trouble, but the initial booklet does not suggest this. All in all though we had a superb time once the hot tub was up and running, and the owner was very helpful in answering all my questions about the appliances in the house so we could cook a three course meal. If you're looking for a house for a large, relaxed group, and want to bring a four-legged friend, then I would certainly recommend this place. The local beach is beautiful too!"
