Additional unrestricted roadside parking. Enclosed rear garden with furniture, small front garden with bench. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 1 mile. Beach 10 mins walk via public footpaths over open fields, less than 1 mile by car.

The village of High Hauxley is situated less than a mile inland from the hamlet of Low Hauxley at the northern end of Druridge Bay, a four-mile stretch of sweeping sand dunes and white sands. Less than two miles away is the small fishing port of Amble, which sits at the mouth of the River Coquet and offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and stunning coastal walks.

"The cottage was amazing! The owners made me feel so welcome and at home, and you can tell how much care they put into making it a memorable stay for anyone who visits. The cottage was very spacious, had a wonderful and relaxed feel, very well accommodated, amazing water pressure, extremely comfortable beds, a spectacular sitting room, and amazing wood cabinetry in the kitchen. Plus the garden was great place to enjoy a nice book. The neighbors were very kind, and being so close to the sea was lots of fun. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation! Thank you."
