This cosy link-detached cottage in Scarborough sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. Note: Note: If booking is within 14 days, please contact our Reservations Team Four bedrooms: 1 x super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request), 1 x ground floor double with TV, 1 x double, 1 x little twin. Bathroom with small bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Ground floor wet room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Utility. Sitting room with electric fire.
The Coach House is a cosy link-detached Victorian coach house situated close to the centre of the seaside town of Scarborough. This cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, consisting of one zip/link king-size double, one double, one little twin, one ground floor double, as well as a bathroom and a ground floor wet room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with electric fire. Outside there's a front gravelled courtyard with furniture, suitable for 3 parked cars. The Coach House is a convenient base for families wishing to stay in a traditional seaside resort, but also be close to a wonderful National Park. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Gas central heating with electric fire, Fuel and power inc. in rent, Bed linen and towels inc. in rent.. Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD/Blu-ray, radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Travel cot and highchair (please bring own cot mattress and bedding), Cot mattress size is size 95cm x 66cm. Front graveled courtyard with garden furniture,suitable for off road parking up to 3 cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pub 3 mins walk. Beach; 10 minute walk to clift top, with tram and footpath down to the beach. Train and bus station 10 mins walk. Note: Low head height in the upstairs bathroom and bedrooms. Note: No stag/hen parties, or similar. Note: Sleeps 7 Max 6 adults and 1 child under 12 years old including infants. Note: Access to the property is behind large wooden vehicle gates. Note: The narrowest door on the ground floor of this property is 62cm wide. "Had a lovely week in this charming home for the New Year. Lovely home with lots of little touches including pixie doors! Clean & tidy & well stocked with everything we needed. The welcome package of fizz & biscuits were a lovely treat. Lots of information available on how to use appliances and helpful local information too. Plenty of room for 6 adults plus! Lovely and warm. Location is spot on. Easy walk down to the beach and lots of shops etc nearby. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return! The owners are very friendly and keep in touch to ensure everything is fine. Thank you for a lovely week!"
"A cosy little house with comfy beds, a small but well equipped kitchen and a snug lounge for relaxing in. Everything looks gorgeous and is decorated to a very high standard. A lot of love has obviously gone into making a beautiful home. There is a large selection of toys for kids and lots of lovely books for grownups. Our party was made up of two mums and five kids and it was a perfect base for a great holiday. You can walk to the beach or into town within 20 minutes and there are shops 5 minutes walk away. It is equally easy to drive out of town to visit the coast. We had great days out at Cayton Bay to the south, a rainy day at Bridlington leisure centre, brilliant for children and very reasonably priced, and Scarborough sealife centre."
"This house was too small for our family holiday. I would say max is 4 adults and 2 kids. The house was not clean on arrival and the down stairs did not look as spacious and nice as the pictures suggested. And the the wifi wasn't up to speed. The lovely picture you seen online of a courtyard garden is actually your parkings spaces. With a plastic table chucked in the corner. You could not hang washing out without moving you cars on to street and there was no dryer.. So washing clothes wasn't easy for a large family.The upstairs was well laid out, clean and the beds bed were very comfy. Although the house not as expected we did have a good week. Scarborough is great fun for family's."
"We had the best week in this house, plenty of room for all 6 of us. the Wi-fi was a huge bonus with 4 teens. Comfortable furnishings and the cottage is lovely and clean felt like new. We would have struggled without the new wet room so this is a fantastic addition. Only a 15 minute stroll to the beach. Handy local shops just round the corner. The secure parking was a God send. We only used the cars twice all week which saved a small fortune in parking. Highly recommend this cottage."
"We had a great time staying at the coach house in Scarborough. Even though it was February the sun was shining most of the week. The cottage is within walking distance of the beach and shops. As soon as we walked into the cottage we were greeted with a lovely bowl of fruit, wine and welcome card. Added to this there was milk in the fridge and tea and coffee. The owners were great at contacting us prior and letting us know instructions to get in etc. and very helpful. The cottage has everyone you need. It is lovely and modern and very homely. There were 4 of us staying,my husband and I and our 2 children and we had lots of space. Great kitchen with ample facilities including dishwasher and washing machine, which was useful having small children. The bedrooms were a great size, beautifully decorated, really comfortable beds and lots of storage. I did not want to go home to my own bed! There were plug in lights/torches on the landing which was so useful at night with young children, I even ordered myself one when I got home. The bathroom the only aspect to the cottage which may cause a problem for some people. There was not a proper 'stand up' shower due to sloping ceiling. It was not a problem for us at all, I just made the most of having a bath every day! The owners are in the process of possibly adding a downstairs shower room which would be a great extra. You can easily park 3 cars outside in private courtyard. Great knowing your car is safe as gate locks from inside. Area was quiet on a night, we weren't disturbed at all. Overall a fabulous cottage, we enjoyed our week so much that while we were there I was already trying to book again. Will plan to return later in the year. Thank you for a lovely welcome and great accommodation, great family holiday had by us all. "
