"We have just come back from a weekend away here and what can I say, the place is perfect, just above Bala with views of the lake and Snowdon, yet within easy walking distance of Bala town, fantastic entertainment space so was perfect for our family, there were 6 adults and 2 children in our party. We sat and enjoyed the sunset whilst the children played, we cooked dinner every night, the kitchen had everything you can think of, the bedrooms are gorgeous, even the bathroom had an amazing view! So quiet and lovely, couldnt have asked for more. We will definitely return!"

"We just came back from Nantlyn for a 6 night holiday. We truly enjoyed our stay and the view from the house is amazing. The lake and the surrounding countryside side is beautiful indeed. The house itself is very spacious. The open plan kitchen /diner with sitting room is very good for bonding. All the rooms are big and spacious. Love the Smart TV. The house is just a mile from the shop which is very handy if you need something from the grocery store. A very beautiful holiday house."

"What a brilliant place, I managed to find through Sykes cottages! Group of 7 of us decided to go for a 3-4 day break! (Too short in my opinion) The hosts were fantastic, we were a group of 7 lads, they allowed us to have our own BBQ and be able to have Shisha/hookah (outside the property) and were really friendly! The locals were brilliant (the town which is less than 1 mile away by car has a co-op and spar) really helped us! A great place especially if you want to on the outskirts of Snowdonia I mean amazing sea views! This place is so brilliant, you have to go! The cottage is pure class! We are booking again this year! Amazing family or groups, something for everyone to do!"

"I stayed at Nantllyn for two weeks. It is a beautiful place with great views over Bala, the surrounding hills / valleys and the lake. The property is very well equipped and furnished, with real attention to detail. e.g. modern setup including a great kitchen (dishwasher, induction cooker, american style fridge / freezer), a fantastic open area between the lounge and kitchen, as well as a spacious decking area to enjoy the views. The owners were very friendly and helpful, without over-imposing. The property was also exceptionally clean on arrival, and it just felt like every effort had been made to make for a great holiday."

"This holiday rental completely exceeded our expectations. We hired it to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday and stayed as a group of three couples, one adult and two children. There are so many rooms that we never felt cramped. This house has a beautiful interior with a fabulous family room including kitchen, dining and sitting areas. There is a separate sitting room as well. There are two bathrooms including one with a lovely large bath and one with a superb shower. The house is so well equipped with loads of fluffy towels and bedding all supplied. There are games and DVDs for the children. When we arrived we were greeted with a tasty chocolate cake made by the owners which was a very sweet and thoughtful gesture. We used the house as a weekend base to visit Llandudno but it has great access to so many lovely places to visit. The little ones also enjoyed running around outside on the massive lawn. I highly recommend this accommodation and would not hesitate to stay there again. It is clear that the owners have made every effort to create a peaceful and beautiful haven for their guests."
