Five bedrooms: 1 x ground floor king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x second-floor king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 2 x second floor twin. Second-floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open-plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Utility. Shared external games room.
Apple Barn is a large, character cottage set in a group of similar properties, near North Molton in Devon. With five bedrooms, three with en-suites, plus a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep ten people. There's also an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner. Outside you'll find an enclosed lawned garden, plus access to six acres of the owner's site with children's play area with trampoline, bouncy castle, swings and slide, along with a shared games room with table tennis, pool table and hockey table. There's also shared off road parking available. Apple Barn is a quality, large property, perfect for an extended family or group of friends seeking a base in beautiful North Devon. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Electric double oven and hob, microwave, 2 x fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent Oct-March; at other times of year fuel for stove can be purchased locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent; hot tub towels are not provided. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate available on request. Ample off-road parking. Private 6-person hot tub overlooking the valley. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture and barbecue. Shared use of 6-acre site with children's play area with trampoline, goal post, swings and slides. Shared external games room with table tennis, pool table, table football and TV with PS2 and games. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Note: One of the double bedrooms and both twins have sloping ceilings. Note: The property is over three floors, with 8 steps from ground floor to first floor level and then a further 8 steps to second floor level. Note: This property is in a rural location, accessed by country lanes that are single track in some places. Whilst all parties are welcome at the property, guests should be made aware of the quiet, rural nature of the location and consideration should be given to the other guests and properties on-site. Note: The communal games room may not be available for use due to the current situation

"Set back in the countryside surrounded by rolling hills is the beautiful Apple Barn. We found it relatively easy to find and loved our 3 night stay in December. The barn was nice and modern with a big lounge area. It was great to have a log fire during our winter visit. The hot tub was perfect. We ventured out a few times to go for dinner or a wonder around the local towns but we were happy to relax at the barn and watch movies or play board games. There was also a games room that was open to guests."
"For our first family get away in a long time we wanted something to tick all the boxes, and Apple Barn certainly did that! The owners were helpful with things to do, accommodating and super friendly, even being so kind as to lend us herbs and spices when we needed them for home cooking! The welcome pack was a lovely surprise! With ages ranging from 6 to 60, Apple Barn had something for everyone. The games room was perfect for the younger ones, and the peace and quite just what the more mature side of our family longed for! We would all highly recommend Apple Barn, in its beautiful setting and cosy but large interior. :-)"
"A beautiful holiday house which was spacious downstairs and cosy upstairs. Lovely welcome from owners who were helpful but not obtrusive. Welcome pack very useful. Lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy the fantastic views. Even on the odd cold and damp days we were able to enjoy the views from the huge windows overlooking the valley. A great base to explore lovely North Devon. Certainly would recommend this property for family gatherings. The en suite bathrooms were so useful in the mornings when we wanted to make an early start."
