With one super king-size double bedroom, which can be transformed into twin beds on request, and a separate king-size bedroom, this property can sleep four people. There's also a family bathroom, as well as a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with multi-fuel stove. Outside, there is off road parking for one car with additional roadside parking next to the cottage. Cleeve Cottage is within walking distance of the local shop and pub, along with the lovely ruined castle, and it's a great base for families and friends looking to discover this delightful area. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The attractive Wensleydale town of Middleham is renowned for its history and race horses. Much of the history is bound up with its Norman castle, which has a keep second in size only to the Tower of London. The pretty market square is partially cobbled and offers a range of shops, pubs and places to eat. All in all a superb base for exploring Wensleydale and all within easy driving distance of York, the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales and Heritage Coast.
