Romaldkirk has pretty greens, old stone cottages, anold church and two pubs, nestled in County Durham within the boundaries of the North Riding of Yorkshire. It is an ideal base for walking and touring the Yorkshire Dales. The northern Lakes and the cities of Durham and Newcastle are all within easy driving distance, whilst the ancient market town of Barnard Castle is close by.
