It also contains a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking and a patio garden with furniture. Set in beautiful countryside, The Barn is a superb retreat on a working farm in West Dorset. Explore the fossils and stunning beaches of Dorset's Jurassic Coast, visit historic Sherborne and Shaftesbury, or enjoy the footpaths, country lanes and thatched-roof pubs Dorset offers.

Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Small enclosed patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 8 mins walk. Note: The water comes from a natural spring which is regularly tested. Note: This is a working farm with the farmyard next to the patio. There may be associated farm smells and sounds. Note: Rides in the owner's vintage Daimler by arrangement.

The village of Chedington is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where west Dorset borders south Somerset. The village offers glorious countryside and walks. The towns of Crewkerne and Beaminster are nearby, and the Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis, West Bay and Sherbourne are further afield.
