The Dairy is a welcoming, ground floor studio apartment set in the grounds of the owner's home. With open plan studio accommodation including a super king-size double bed, a kitchen, a sitting area with a woodburner, a dining area and a separate shower room, this property can sleep two peope. Outside, there is ample off road parking plus a private decking area with furniture and an enclosed lawned garden. A gate from the garden leads directly to a footpath, which trails all the way into Appleby. The Dairy is a wonderfully placed property for a romantic break discovering both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Electric radiators with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books. Fuel, power and generous starter pack included in rent with wood and coal. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Ample off road parking. Enclosed lawned garden with decking and furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 2 mins walk. Note: The owners have two dogs and two cats. They also have hens which roam freely around the grounds.

The historic town of Appleby-in-Westmorland lies in a loop of the River Eden and is overlooked by the Pennine range with the Lake District Fells showing on the western horizon. Set at the heart of the lush Eden Valley and steeped in history, this is one of the loveliest towns in the north of England and was originally the county town of Westmorland.
