"Recently visited for a short break in Yorkshire. Really friendly owners (Ali & John), and never intrusive. Accommodation was perfect for what we needed. Had a Fridge freezer, including complimentary pint of milk for a cuppa when we arrived, kitchen had microwave, some tea, coffee, sugar, cleaning & washing up stuff, assortment of crockery, cutlery, pans, oven was a gas hob & electric oven - spotless. Availabilty of a vacuum cleaner, fans, mop&bucket, extension lead, toaster, wash-up sponge, dish-cloth & tea towel, dishwasher. Also includes a 3-seat sofa, recliner arm chair, 2-seat breakfast table, tv, bluray DVD, some DVD's, books, info leaflets, towels, slippers, drawers and hangers for clothing, washing machine, BBQ (coals & gas), enclosed garden, wifi and a couple of torches. Hot tub was excellent and used every day. Would definately recommend the lodge as a place to stay to visit the local area. Some fantastic sunsets and local walks. Local amenities and places to eat. Ideal for a short break and dog friendly. "

"Both the accommodation and the welcome at this property are second to none. The apartment is airy, light, yet cosy when the weather isn't great. The view is peaceful and expansive; and as the sun sets, you can watch it disappear slowly from the comfort of a reclining chair. It is indeed Sunset Lodge. Linens and bedding are fresh and clean and the attention to every detail is comforting. Along with the quality fixtures and fittings it is the ideal base from which to explore all East Yorkshire has to offer. Whether you want to explore the heart of the countryside, or beside the sea. The beaches in Fraisthorpe and Hornsea are clean and not as busy as some of the bigger/better known towns, Allowing you and a furry friend to enjoy playtime and walks aplenty. The private and enclosed garden at the property is perfect for two in the hot-tub, or to keep your furry friend safe to explore with or without you. To end the day there are a number of eating places to choose from locally which you can enjoy either take-away, or with your pet. With a range of prices to suit every pocket. The fish and chips in Brandesburton are excellent and Berts Italian is more expensive, but beautiful quality food. Should you wish to create your own culinary masterpiece, the kitchen facilities are more than adequate. Finally, if there isn't everything you need, the owners are incredibly helpful and approachable and i wouldn't have thought twice to ask for any help/advice i needed."

"We had a lovely week here in September, This cottage was a cracking find..Away from the hullabaloo of the campsites and only a gentle stroll to the lovely village of Brandesburton. A perfect place to unwind and re-charge your batteries. The cottage is tastefully decorated and the enclosed garden to the rear was perfect for our dog.Tea, Milk & sugar was there waiting for us when we arrived, There was even some ice cubes in the freezer, Was lovely to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun setting over the fields on an evening. A perfect base from which to explore Hull, Beverley, Hornsea and more.. hats off to the owners Ali & John, so glad we booked this one."

"The property is brand new and well designed and built. It is decorated to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. The owners have thought of everything you will need even down to a good selection of DVDs. There is a good sized enclosed garden that is ideal for a dog, it was very hot when we were there and we kept the door open so that our dog could potter in and out as he pleased. If you like walking there are plenty of walks in the local area. The nearest village is Leven, and the local Costcutter has a very good range. The friendly owners live next door but leave you to your own devices. There is a laundry room on the ground floor with everything you need."
