This single-storey studio cottage close to the North York Moors village of Aislaby sleeps two people. All ground floor. Open plan studio accommodation with one king-size double bed, dining area and sitting area. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen.
Poppy Cottage is a all ground floor, studio cottage set on the owner's smallholding, one mile from the village of Aislaby and five miles from Whitby in the North York Moors National Park. This cottage sleeps two people in an open plan studio layout consisting of a king-size double bed, dining area and sitting area, and there's also a separate shower room and kitchen. Outside there is ample off road parking and a small patio with furniture. Poppy Cottage is an ideal base for a couple with walks, cycle routes and many delightful towns and villages in the area. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The village of Aislaby is situated in the rolling countryside of the Esk Valley, overlooking Sleights and just three miles from Whitby. The village offers sandstone cottages and an old church. There are many small fishing villages and resort towns in the area, including Whitby, which is famous for its Abbey, reached by 199 steps.
