"We have just returned from staying at Tenby Cottage. What a brilliant place. It is spotless throughout: the nautical theme that runs through the cottage is lovely. I particularly liked the oar/stair rail. The kitchen has plenty of crockery and cutlery etc. The Welcome hamper and milk was such a thoughtful touch. The bedrooms are a good size: our grandchildren loved the top bedroom. The bedding was spotless and the beds comfortable. There are so many positives in Tenby Cottage but I don't want to spoil it for others before they go. There was a parking space too, such a bonus. My son in law has a 7 seater and it was a little tight for him to get to the back of the property. Saying that, he just got out and moved a few bins and made it. Worth the bother. Tenby Cottage is an absolute gem. Perfectly situated within walking distance of all the amenities, yet far enough away that it was quiet at night. The log burner was lovely too. We would absolutely recommend Tenby Cottage. Linda Coleman"

"We went here for the weekend as a group of 5 ladies. What a lovely cottage it is! It was better in real life than the pictures on the internet. The cottage was perfectly positioned and was quite easy to find. When we arrived, we couldn't fathom out how to get round the back but the lady who lived next door came out and let us go through her garden which was very nice of her. As you enter the cottage, there is a utility room with sink and fridge/freezer. We did struggle with the size of the fridge as had a grocery shop delivered to us one day and couldn't fit the fresh food in. It maybe could do with a bigger fridge freezer but it was fine - if we had been staying a full week we would definitely have been stuck! There was a lovely downstairs toilet which I hadn't seen advertised anywhere so this was a surprise. The kitchen was really lovely and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The living room was gorgeous and we were all over the moon with it. We used the log burner throughout our stay. We did expect more logs to be left for us - think there was 3/4 small logs left which was adequate for one night. I had been told prior to us going that only a few would be left which was fine as we were aware of it and we were quite happy to get our own anyway. The owners had provided tea towels, washing up liquid, hand soap, a lovely welcome pack - there were loads of extras!! On the first floor, there was a separate toilet and bathroom (both lovely) and a twin room and a double bedroom. Upstairs, was another twin room which was very comfortable. Everybody commented on how lovely the bedding was and how comfortable the duvets were - they were all great. Towels were all provided as well which was a nice touch! We absolutely loved this cottage and have even looked at availability to book again! If I really had to find any faults then it would be that the walls were paper thin and the lady next door had dogs that barked alot - we would hear them quite alot. We will definitely be going back - loved it and it was a great find!!!"

"Stayed in Whitby many times over the last 12 years - this property is by far our favourite. A well thought out and beautifully decorated property with many little extras to compliment your stay - a real home from home. Parking for two cars a real bonus in the centre of Whitby. Great wifi signal which was available throughout the property and not just in the corner of one room! Lots of mirrors (if you have ever gone on holiday with 3 teenage girls you will know this is important). Welcome tea/coffee basket with real milk in the fridge. Tea towels too - never had those before. Central location - easy access to town one way and the beach the other. Property is very central and surrounded by other properties so there is no sea view if this is important to you but the sea is a 5 minute walk away. The property is also extremely quiet considering its central location. Stop reading this and start booking ....................."
