This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of two doubles and one twin, as well as a bathroom and a ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen with dining area, a sitting room with open fire and a conservatory. Outside there's off road parking for three cars, lockable bike storage and lawned gardens with furniture. Burnside is ideally placed for exploring both the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks. The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

The village of Kilburn situated on the edge of the North York Moors National Park is famous for its white chalk etching of the Kilburn Horse. The village also has pretty cottages and a pub. Close by is Sutton Bank, which boasts panoramic views of the Vale of York. Less than seven miles away is Thirsk, with its cobbled market square, shops, tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and an historic cinema.

"In a small well kept village that offers all amenity's,Good walks and places to visit. Burnside has EVERTHING you need for a great holiday......every detail is covered from matches to light the wonderful log fire to a games cupboard and videos if its raining (no rain when we visited)the children loved the huge garden to explore . People in the village were very nice and the food at the local pub was great.Nothing more to say.....JUST BRILLIANT"
"What an amazingly well appointed place. Huge rooms and stunning garden. Wonderful equipment and furniture throughout. The only downside is the nearby pig farm....if you are downwind, you will know! We will definitely be back though! Incredible place!"
