Park House Cottage is a detached, Grade II listed stone-built cottage situated within the grounds of Skirwith Abbey, in the village of Skirwith, near Penrith. This cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, consisting of two first floor super king-size doubles, both with en-suites and two ground floor zip/link super king-size doubles, as well as a separate ground floor bathroom with free-standing bath. The cottage also has a first floor kitchen and first floor sitting room with open fire. Outside there is an enclosed lawned garden with furniture and ample off road parking. This luxury cottage is an ideal holiday home for walks, cycling, or just admiring the breathtaking scenery all around. Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Enclosed, lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pubs 3.5 miles. Note: The owners live on site. Note: Check-in 4pm, check-out 10am.

The small village of Skirwith, made up of a cluster of houses, village green and a beck is situated at the foot of Crossfell Hill, in the Eden Valley, eight miles from Penrith. The River Eden runs nearby and the area boasts fishing, walks, cycling, canoeing and climbing, plus Long Meg and her daughters (the 3rd largest stone circle in England) is close by. Penrith offers sandstone buildings, specialist shops, pubs and restaurants, and Hadrian's Wall and the historic city of Carlisle are within driving distance.
