Fuel for fire available to purchase locally (Only Wood to be used). Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking. Shared, rear yard with furniture. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 mins walk. Beach 2 mins walk. Note: One step down from open plan living area to shower room.

The bustling seaport of Amble is situated at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. Amble offers a marina, a harbour, sandy beaches and coastal walks to the bird sanctuary at Hauxley and country park at Druridge Bay.

"Good location. Well equipped property and comfortable beds. Freezer needed defrosting and better openings for fridge and freezer - hands easily trapped. Very noisy Heating system. Property would benefit from a file of instructions and local information. Pleased with grab handle at step to bathroom."
"First impressions were that it is a very clean flat. The bedrooms are very small and have no hanging space (drawers in one bedroom only) but beds were fairly comfortable, and kitchen very clean. However, I booked this flat because it advertised an open fire, with fuel and started kit included in the price. When we couldn't find anything to do with the fire we asked the manager. We got a reply to say that Sykes have been told to remove this from the website, this is not something they offer and we could buy our own fuel from the shop in the village. By the time we received this reply the shops were shut. There was a letter in the kitchen which said the fire must be cleaned out if it is used, and as there was nothing provided to do this (even the vacuum cleaner we found was over full already) we couldn't use it at all. The cleaning rules also applied to the oven - so we didn't cook here either since on a two night stay I didn't fancy cleaning the oven. The kitchen didn't bother us, but I would never have booked the flat if it hadn't advertised the fire, so we were very disappointed. There was a lot of noise coming from the people in the upstairs flat too. The location, though, was great."
