This charming ground floor semi-detached cottage with far-reaching views is situated in the crofting township of Balgowan near Newtonmore, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and can sleep three people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with multi-fuel stove.

There is a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage contains a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with multi-fuel stove. To the outside of the cottage there is off road parking for 2 cars and a front gravelled area with seating and a lawned rear garden. Tigh Beag will suit a couple or small family looking to enjoy the vast array of outdoor pursuits on offer in the area but also being located within an easy drive of a local village and its amenities. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Fuel, power and all fuel for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Front gravelled garden with seating and lawned rear garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 6 miles. Bar in hotel 10 mins walk. Cafe 1 mile.

Overlooking the River Spey, in the Cairngorms National Park, Newtonmore has several shops and pubs, as well as the Newtonmore Craft Centre and two excellent, award-winning museums. The area offers fine golf, fishing, pony trekking, walking, bird-watching, cycling, mountain-biking, climbing and skiing, making it an ideal base from which to discover all that this scenic area of Scotland has to offer.

"The cottage itself is a wonderful cosy building with absolute stunning views across the wood and farmland. We arrived to a fully stocked coal and wood shed and even a bottle of wine on arrival. The owners take great care in ensuring your stay is comfortable, with an email asking the age of my child and providing toys and story books for him. The garden and parking are all you could need for a small family. Easy distance to all of the Cairngorm National Park attractions and businesses. Perfect week away, will definitely be back. "
