This end terraced farm cottage is located just outside Alnmouth in Northumberland and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 2 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Spacious sitting room with gas living-flame stove.
Stephen's Cottage is an end terraced farm cottage on a working farm just two miles from the coastal town of Alnmouth in Northumberland. With three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin as well as the family bathroom and shower room, this cottage can sleep six people. There is also a fitted kitchen with a dining area and sitting room with a gas stove. Outside the cottage is shared use of a large lawned garden and off road parking for two cars. With its neighbouring cottages, Stephen's Cottage can provide accommodation for up to 18 people in this beautiful part of Northumberland. Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian's Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair by arrangement. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared garden with large lawn area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles.

Alnmouth is a delightful resort four miles east of Alnwick which is popular with golfers and holidaymakers in need of a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Situated on a narrow spit of land between the North Sea and the River Aln, Alnmouth was originally the port for Alnwick. The area is nowa beautiful and unspoilt region which offers plenty to its visitors including a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants; a superb "links" golf course; splendid river fishing opportunities, and mile upon mile of incredible beaches and sand dunes for seaside fun.

"This cottage is smack bang in the middle of Rothbury and shops, pubs and restaurants all within a 5 minute walk. It is within walking distance of Cragside (well worth a visit) and a lovely walk down by the river. The cottage has a great dining kitchen and other rooms are all a decent size and very comfortable."
"One of three farm cottages situated a short distance inland from Alnmouth. The location is quiet and peaceful yet only a short drive to local pubs and restaurants . Walking from the farm is possible but route finding is difficult along the edge of cornfields. The cottage is clean,,warm and very comfortable ,well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Lots of extras are included for example books, DVDs ,games and tourist information. There is a large lawned area shared by all three cottages which is screened with shrubs and gated making it a safe place for young children. Centrally located for exploring the Northumbria coast."
"On arrival the owner called in to see if we had any problems, then left us alone for the rest of the holiday. We were delighted with the house which had two lovely bathrooms and a large kitchen which was great for six people. It also had a big walled communal garden which was ideal for children. There were lots of beautiful beaches within reach and we visited lots of castles and gardens. We did see everything at its best as we had hot, sunny weather. We can't wait to go back."

"Expect farm noises and smells but these not intrusive. Car needed but plenty of parking space. within easy reach of fine coastal scenery, nature reserves, historic sites etc. facilities in cottage more than adequate for 4 adults."
"Setting: Wonderful next to farm but did not experience any noise or "whiffs". Very peaceful and quiet. Lovely private garden at back of cottage. No problems with parking. Cottage: Best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Extremely clean and comfortable - actually had a comfortable sofa - (not the usual holiday cottage sit up and beg type). Kitchen appliances and equipment excellent. Bathroom lovely. Owner: Friendly, welcoming and approachable. We knew she was there to ask for help if we needed it, but left us to our devices - great. Liked Best - everything. Liked Least - Nothing - Can't think of anything to complain about!!"
