This end terraced, stone built cottage is set in the village of Ashford in the Water and sleeps six people in three bedrooms. Three bedrooms: 1 x king-size double, 1 x double, 1 x adult bunks. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin, bidet and WC. Fitted kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with woodburning stove.
Cornbrook House is a delightful stone built end terraced cottage situated in the village of Ashford in the Water, just two miles from the market town of Bakewell. The cottage has three bedrooms consisting of one king-size double, one double and one adult bunks, as well as a family bathroom meaning six people can relax in comfortable surroundings. The rest of the cottage has a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. To the outside of this cottage there is roadside parking for two cars and an enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Cornbrook Cottage is close to many attractions and is bound to please everyone in your party. The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with basic Sky, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Stairgate available on request. Roadside parking on a first come, first served basis. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 mins walk. Note: There is a small access path through the garden to next door's property.

Set on the banks of the River Wye is Ashford in the Water. The village offers stone cottages, two pubs, a restaurant and a shop. The market town of Bakewell is only two miles away and boasts a number of shops, restaurants and pubs. Nearby is Chatsworth House and Hardwick Hall, plus with driving distance is Alton Towers.

"Hi just stayed with a group of friends great location on a bus route beautiful walks from the local village to monsal head and around bakewell facilities at the cottage were excellent (but the beautiful bath needs a new plug as it just let the water out slow) The village of Ashford in the water has 2 pubs one is a hotel and the food was superb the Ashford arms the bulls head also served meals but are available on social media and we booked tables sat and sunday."
"This is a lovely cottage, good quality equipment, great heating and amenities. It is in an great location close to pubs, shop and tea shop. The only problem is there is no allocated parking, the only parking is about eight spaces to serve 12 properties on a first come basis. When we first arrived there was no available parking,If you and your travelling companions can cope with this i would throughly recommend this cottage."
"Lovely house rather than cottage with high ceilings. Nice interior. Great kitchen/diner with quality cooking pots and pans and utensils rather than the cheap items you usually find in holiday lets. Smaller than expected but made up by high ceiling and two good size bedrooms. third bedroom was v small with a big bunkbed. shame there was only one bathroom with toilet so occasionally there was a queue for the bathroom. parking shared with other residents."

"A very pleasant period house in excellent condition and with high standard of cleanliness and of furniture and fitments. The kitchen was a delight, with everything you needed available. Two good sized bedrooms with a smaller third with very comfortable beds and bedding. A large bathroom well fitted with seoarate shower was very welcome. A chest full of toys was of delight for the children. On the oustskirts of the village of ashford which had a store and pubs and vey near Bakewell with many more amenities.It was easy to go on various walks from the house itself.It was very easy to visit other well known places. Although the house was part of a terrace it was very quiet and we heard no noise at all.While there was small garden in front we would have liked a back garden or yard as it rained a lot and we found it difficult to dry clothes"
