"Poor level of cleanliness and cheap, tacky, dilapidated decor. Tired, scratched and dirty paintwork. Dog hairs under every piece of furniture on every piece of furniture and in every corner. Dirty furnishings and a rug so old and caked in dirt it is unsanitary. Gaudy Decor. Uncomfortable beds. Filthy stairway carpet. A stair gate that is rusty and covered in dirt. Green algae coated windows that's been there for months. Mildew in window frames and shower enclosures. Poorly appointed kitchen equipment comprising of a mismatch of dirty, broken pots and pans, chipped plates and a few assorted pieces of stoneware and oddments of plastic and glass glasswear. The kitchen drawers were dirty and full of broken utensils and oddments of cutlery which were old and not matching. Dangerous, broken saucepans, even some ancient aluminium ones that looked like they were from house clearances. Dog hairs in the kitchen cupboards and sticky greasy tiles and extractor fan. Way too much chlorine in hot tub - very disappointing and unhealthy. Games room, broken gym equipment and sauna covered in cat hairs and cat poo. Such a shame could be a fantastic place to stay if it was run by someone else that cared about their guest's stay and had the right demeanour to run a holiday rental."

"Stayed here for a week and used as a base for walking and cycling. Good cycle routes nearby and lovely coastal walks not far from cottage. Owners were helpful and friendly with good advice on what to do in the area. We left some belongings in the cottage when we left - not very clever! However, the owners posted the items back to us free of charge, so thank you very much. The local town has a good supermarket and decent take-aways. We enjoyed our stay here and found the relaxed environment and good facilities were what we really needed to help us unwind at the end of a busy year."

"My wife, daughter, spaniel and I had the best week away for ages at Millers Cottage. The location is perfect and the cottage itself is really clean, smart and comfortable. We were made really welcome by the owners who even checked if we needed anything from the shops when they went out. I love the Cardigan bay area and would heartily recommend this as a base from which to explore."

"We have just had the most magical five days at Happy donkey Hill in the millers cottage. Even though we got a little lost ( 40 miles to my shame! ) and late. The welcome was warm, the cottage amazing, the cleanliness, decor throughout and the kitchen was so well equipped with anything you could need. There was even a log fire ready to be lit in the burner. The hot tubs were spot on with plenty of privacy and still able to look out over the valley or stars. There was a utility room for laundry that was really useful. A free mobile direct to Katie or Andy if we needed anything. When I saw pictures of our accommodation I was impressed only to see when we got there pictures cant do it justice. We were lucky enough to see The stables 2 person cottage before we left and we are hoping to have a week there again in the autumn it was an enchanting cottage and very romantic. The location was spot on and leaflets and booklets of locations and attractions were great to set us off ( for the intrepid out there try a walk to the witches Cauldron a natural blow hole on the coast on the pilgrim trail at Ceirbwr Bay towards Newport Bay ) we were easily accessible to main roads made everything easy. The Sculpture Haven Gardens are a must too. The information for both will be in the cottage. There was such a spiritual feel to the place as soon as we arrived we knew we would return, and it lived up to its name they were really happy little donkeys and even one a few days old, I cant rate the people and accommodation and location highly enough. I would have to say this was our own little Nirvana, thanks to Katie and Andy."
