Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this single storey cottage on the Isle of Skye is close to Edinbane hamlet, and near Dunvegan. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire.
The Keeper's Cottage is a single storey detached property with wonderful views in a peaceful location in Greshornish, a few miles from Edinbane, near Dunvegan, on the Isle of Skye. This cosy cottage has a double and a twin room, and a family bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The living area is open plan, with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside, there is a large garden and off road parking. With attractions such as Portree, the Cuillin Mountains and even the west coast of the mainland easily accessible, The Keeper's Cottage makes a great Isle of Skye base. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Set on the north west of the Isle of Skye, the village of Dunvegan has a collection of shops and hotels. Close tothe village is Dunvegan Castle. Climbers visiting the area often head to the Cuillin Mountains, with their impressive rock formations and pinnacles. Skye's main town, Portree, is a short drive away, with a harbour, shops, hotels and restaurants.

"My partner and I stayed here with our two dogs .cottagecottage was small but we knew that ..broken tiles on kitchen floor that was dangerous .the ramp outside was very slippy when it rained.took us two days to work out how to get hot water .and the garden wasn't secure .the cottage smelt of damp"

"We had stayed in this cottage many years ago and loved the area, in later years we have stayed in Ghillie's cottage and love it's situation and seclusion. Keeper's cottage was a very acceptable alternative with great views, also it's very quiet as there's so little traffic going past.We think it's perfect for two people, but would be a bit of a squeeze for four, especially when the table is in use.My husband especially enjoys the freedom to fish and I relish the quiet and the views. The amenities were all as advertised and were no problem at all. The cottage is nicely placed to allow discovery of the whole island. We would definateley return."
