This detached cottage is located in the coastal village of Hopeman on the shores of the Moray Firth, seven miles from Elgin, and sleeping five people in two bedrooms. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x family room with 1 king-size double and 1 single. Ground floor bathroom with freestanding bath, hand-held shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Utility. Dining room with woodburning stove. Sitting room with woodburning stove. Sun room.
Old Salthouse is a detached cottage located in the coastal village of Hopeman on the shores of the Moray Firth, seven miles from Elgin, and sleeping five people in two bedrooms. The ground floor consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room and a separate dining room both of which benefit from woodburning stoves. A modern family bathroom is also located on the ground floor which features a freestanding bath. Upstairs, there are two comfortable bedrooms; one king-size double with an en-suite shower room and one family room with a king-size double and a single. Outside, there is a off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden to the front and rear. Old Salthouse is a perfect base for a seaside holiday in a beautiful part of Scotland. From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Fuel, power and starter pack for stoves inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Off road parking for 2 cars. Front, side and rear lawned garden with BBQ and furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 5 mins walk. Beach 1 min walk. Note: There are 2 steps leading up to the kitchen.

Hopeman is a scenic coastal village situated on the shores of the Moray Firth in the North East of Scotland. This small village attracts many visitors due to the fact it boasts two sandy beaches, East Beach and West Beach, as well as a pretty little harbour used mainly now for leisure crafts. The East Beach boasts a line of beach huts, all individually decorated, along with a small pavilion. The main street has a number of small shops and a popular tea room.

"The location was close to the beaches which were lovely but unfortunately the Old Salt House wasn't up to standard, the first thing was the outside where there was a wooden picnic table but the garden was very unkempt the back door wouldn't shut and had to remain locked, the kitchen was reasonable with a new fridge/freezer although the cooker needed a good clean. bedding was clean but the pillows had a stale smell to them I had to go out and buy myself a pillow, bathroom was very poorly lit. You couldn't see out of the windows as they were fogged up inside of the units. In all it lacked the attention it needed so disappointing"
"Unfortunately in a stunning setting of Hopeman Harbour, the views and setting are were it all ended, :-(. There were more negatives than positives in this property, while we were renting for a week in June 2017. Its such a shame, as it could have been a better experience. From broken fridge appliance, to shoddy bathroom utilities, i coukd go on and on... All issues we experienced were relayed over a 40 minute conversation with the letting agent with a hope they would considered our advise and recommendations..."
"Comfortable and well equipped for a family of four. Lovely enclosed back garden which is a sun trap in good weather. Best of all is the location very close to the harbour for swimming, pier jumping and messing around in boats. "
