"This was our 3rd visit to this delightful cottage. Well equipped. Owners very friendly. Views beautiful. Newport Beach close by and very dog friendly. A short run to get provisions but not a real problem as it is so peaceful around the cottage. Always love the little cakes on arrival (I am wondering if I just go for them l.o.l. )"

"This was a second visit to this lovely little cottage. Pity the weather was rubbish. Still love the cakes that are there on our arrival. So peaceful here and feel quite safe. Easy access to Newport Beach which our dog loves He was so excited at being there and loves an ice cream from the little shop there "

"This cottage is beautifully furnished and well equipped. Spacious for two. Fantastic view of hills from breakfast table. Very secure and private garden. Dog friendly. Located on small farm outside Newport. An easy drive to the local beach, plentiful restaurants in Newport and a local pub and on the coast path. Highly recommended for a couple with canine companions!! It would be a great place to go with a larger group who could stay in other cottages on the farm."

"Y Cwtch is a real find. Hidden away down a lane, it has a clean, crisp, stylish interior with very good quality furnishings including a well-equipped kitchen was great to cook in. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We loved it. Only downside for some people would be that it's a drive to the nearest pub/shops - not a problem for us. Although there are other cottages on site, it felt very private."

"What a fantastic 3 night stay we have just had at Y Cwtch!! We cannot fault it - the cottage is absolutely stunning, immaculately clean, spacious, airy and light - the garden at the back is lovely to sit out in - there is a big lawn and patio area - we enjoyed lunches out there, breakfast and had an evening bbq in the short time we were there!! The views from the cottage were lovely, and we woke up to the stunning welsh countryside and the rolling fields/hills. The family who owned the cottage were so nice and friendly - they left us to feel at home and we felt totaly relaxed and feeling we could get on with doing our own thing which made the cottage feel even more like home. We visited the Iron age forts nerby, the burial chamber, Cardigan and Fishguard - we even got as far as St Davids on our way home - a great place to stay with no end of things to do and very friendly people wherever you go!! Will definately be back to visit here again and cant wait to stay at Y Cwtch for a second time - have already recommended to many family & friends :-) Ps the welcome gift of the home made cupcakes and fresh milk was a really lovely touch and was very much apprecated after a very long drive!!"

"Situated near Newport, in Pembrokeshire, this delightful cottage is well appointed and ideal for a short break, even with the dog. The welcome even includes cup cakes left on the kitchen table ready for the start of a relaxing holiday. "

"Hi, I've been asked to write a review about our stay in Y Cwtch in Pembrokeshire/Wales end of august/beginning of September 2012, and I am glad to provide a very good review. This unique little cosy semi detached cottage had everything one could ask for a weekend or longer away. it was clean, tidy, modern but with character (you see the love and craftsmenship which went into this little property throughout). It was cosy, warm and cute to live in. The fact it's semidetached didn't matter at all with the thick welsh stone walls! :) The surroundings of the farm are very tidy as well, the countryside is lovely...we fell in love with it...the viwe from the kitchen (a floor- to ceiling window infront of you r kitchen table to breakfast on..s.tunning!...in every weather). It's situated near the sea. In a 20min walk you are there and the walks you can do there in the area in a loneliness, peace and quiet are providing you with even more of the superb view of land and sea. Then the little Y Cwtch welcomes you back everyday like your home! The welcome present was very sweet - some muffins, a bottle of tasty crisp white wine and some milk for the first morning. We really couldn't ask for more. There are other cottages just opposite but we barely heard or seen the other guests, so we did feel very much like left on our own which was exacty what we were looking for as this has been our honeymoon. Thanks a lot! Worth every penny."
