This semi detached cottage is located on a farm near to Newport in Pembrokeshire and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x King Size Bed with en-suite shower, basin and WC, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Utility.
Y Cartws is a semi detached cottage on a farm near to the coast and the town of Newport in Pembrokeshire. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms (one double with an ensuite and one twin) and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with outdoor furniture. With its neighbouring cottages, Y Cartws can sleep up to sixteen people in a beautiful part of South Wales. Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Full central heating throughout. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden and patio with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 miles. Note: Fenced pond within farm grounds. Note: Access via Private Lane of 150m which has recently laid new tarmac.

Newport is a beautiful coastal town in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales lying on the River Nevern with a selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms, plus an excellent golf course overlooking the sea as well as a lovely sheltered harbour. Newport lies on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is renowned worldwide for its unique landscape and wonderful opportunities to go dolphin and seal spotting. Wonderful coastal walks along the path or in the nearby Preseli Hills with the ever changing scenery are a walkers dream all year round. Learn about history when you visit the mills, craft centres and castles dotted around the county or spend a day at the wonderful Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort where you can learn hands on all about living during that time. See the majestic Shire Horses at the Shire Horse Farm or spend relaxing days on the huge choice of beautiful sandy beaches. All year round this is a perfect location for all the family.

"First time that we'd visited Pembrokeshire and we were so pleased to have booked Y Cartws to stay in. An absolutely beautiful cottage with everything you could ever want and all furnishings and fittings are of a very high standard, a real haven of peace and tranquility. The roads up from Nevern village to get there are quite narrow and it can be quite a challenge when you meet something coming the other way but they're country roads so you've got to expect that and it does ensure that you are well and truly in the countryside! Anona, the owner, had very thoughtfully left us some cupcakes and milk for when we got there which was most welcome so thank you for that! We had some lovely trips out to St Davids, Tenby, Saundersfoot, Porthgain, Abereiddy, Castle Henllys so the cottage is very well placed to get to most of the tourist spots and if you like hiking and outdoor pursuits, there are plenty of places to go. We don't have any dogs but I do believe that pets are accepted as long as they don't go on the beds/sofas etc. All in all, I cannot fault this cottage at all and we will hopefully be back one day"
