"We loved our stay at The Stables over New Year 2018. The hosts were welcoming, and we gratefully received a welcome package of some essentials (teabags, bread etc) on arrival. The facilities and property were comprehensively explained by the host. We enjoyed some country walks during our stay, but take your walking boots! We didn't find any places (pubs) to eat within walking distance but the cooking/fridge facilities (plenty of pots and pans etc) at the cottage meant that we stayed in and ate, and it was pretty easy to do so. The bathroom facilities were nice and clean. We loved the wood burning stove and the hot tub - making for a cosy stay. Would return again."

"The hosts could not be more welcoming or do enough for you. The cottage is beautifully decorated and the Maple bath is a luxury. The hot tub is a perfect way to relax and the log burning stove is a romantic touch. We cannot wait to return next year!"

"My partner and I stay here for a week and it was brilliant. The land lady was fabulous always there when we needed her! We arrived to a lovely hamper basket filled with bread, wine, chocolate, eggs from the farm, milk and all the essentials you could need! The log burner was a great touch as my partner was very poorly whilst we were there with a bad chest infection so the log burner was essential for us to keep him toasty and comfortable. Bedroom is a lovely size and bed comfortable. The Japanese bath in the bedroom was a good touch although the shower jet didn't work all at once this was no problem for us. The hot tub was lovely We went in every evening with wine and drinks. Great way to settle down and relax! All facilities good. And the town was only a 5 min drive away which was handy for us to be able to go the chemist for my partners medications! Girly in the shop didn't know where she was tho. Only wanted a magazine and she sent us about 10 mile when we finally found a shop 10 feet away from where she worked that sold magazines! We would defiantly return!!! In fact we have already looked at coming again next year! Really really brilliant!"

"The Stables were perfectly equipped and clean. We were made to feel extremely welcome. Loved the hot-tub and made full use of the games room which was fun. The log-burner was an added bonus. Would love to come back in the near future."

"We loved staying at The Stables. We needed to spend time in the area, and The Stables became home from home. We found the bedroom a particularly lovely room, and Katy and andy approachable and helpful when we needed any help. The area is unspoilt and lovely. We enjoyed walking and exploring the local towns. We also noted the artistic and alternative activity in the area, and enjoyed an exhibition of Kaffe Facett and traditional Welsh quilts, and an opportunity to engage in woodland management with the pioneering new Tyr y Gafel eco-community set up through the Lammas Project."

"we were met and welcomed to the cottage upon arrival by Kate, she then gave us a grand tour of the site and its menities. We were also introduced to the donkeys, the chickens, the cats, and then the other buildings that were unoccupied at that moment. The cottage is beutiful and very well appointed, with just about everything necessary for a self catering break. The bedroom is fantastic with a Japenese Maple bath together with an ensuite shower room. The highlight, of course, is outside... yes the hot tub. Wow, that was great, then go inside to a real fire in a log-burning stove. Even the dressing gown and flip flops were provided. This place is great, and a tribute to Kate and andy for all the hard work they have put in to make these cottages so good. You may have guessed by now that we loved it, so did our dog Marlie."

"Upon arrival we were greeted by Kate - she was very friendly - showed us round the Stables which was stunning. She showed us how everything worked without taking too long. We had a few questions about local places to eat and beaches to visit so she gave us her opinion which we appreciated. During our visit we went on a coastal walk and had a lovely meal at the Harbour Master in aberaeron. We also used one of the many books/leaflets to go for a walk in the surrounding area of Llandysul - stunning views - only downside was the book said it was 3.5 miles - ended up being 6!! It was great to be able to jump into a hot tub at the end of each day and wind down with a glass of wine. Throughout our stay we felt welcomed but not harrassed or bothered and left to our own devices which is the way we like. The only slight downside was being woken by a cockrill in the very early hours each morning...however, its a farm so was no real bother! We will definitely be returning!"

"This was a really nice experience, one that we had looked forward to for some time and we weren't dissapointed. The Stables provided really nice accomodation, and Katie and andy were most helpful and even offered to take us to the coast to spot the Dolphins on one occasion. The Hot tub was sooo nice, a perfect way to end the day. We utilised one of the many booklet / leaflets available to do two of the local llandysul walks at 8.5 and 5.0 mile walks respectively - Very nice indeed. The local pubs were dissapointing, however the nearby pub/restaurant - The Daffodil was superb. It is clear that andy/ Katie are animal lovers with cats, dogs, hens etc roaming around the rear of the property along with a number of horses and numerous donkeys in their field. - Top Notch."
